Expert management of echocardiography

This course consists of two distinct stages. The first is a 15-day online module followed by two days of morning and afternoon face-to-face sessions. The professional acquires competencies in the theoretical and practical handling of the ultrasound through real simulation on a patient.

General objectives

  • To train in the management and diagnosis of the echocardiography technique in accident and emergency.

Specific objectives

  • To learn and train in the handling of the ultrasound in the critical room.
  • To identify the anatomical structures via ultrasound.
  • To identify via ultrasound the main cardiac lesions encountered in accident and emergency.
  • To understand the limitations and indications of the technique.
