General objectives

To acquire sufficient theoretical and practical knowledge to perfect the gastrointestinal endoscopic technique in paediatrics.

Specific objectives

To perfect the necessary skills to perform upper gastrointestinal endoscopy in paediatrics.
To perfect the necessary skills to perform lower gastrointestinal endoscopy in paediatrics.
To obtain the necessary knowledge and skills to correctly perform the technique for diagnosis.
To obtain the necessary knowledge and skills to correctly perform the technique for therapeutics.
To obtain the necessary knowledge for the recognition of lesions.
To acquire sufficient skills to take adequate biopsy samples.
To acquire sufficient knowledge to master the standard descriptive terminology for normal anatomy and the most common lesions.
