Endovascular techniques: puncture and navigation

This training enables students to perform in endovascular therapy rooms, understanding the materials and their specific characteristics. Students learn to handle the necessary materials: guides and catheters, c-arm and vascular ultrasound, basic puncture, etc. This training also includes performing an endovascular approach using an animal model.

General objectives

  • To develop the competencies to implement endovascular techniques.

Specific objectives

  • To understand the basic diagnostic support materials (c-arm, pump and ultrasound).
  • To understand the criteria for the use of the materials in arterial and venous access and its indications.
  • To acquire the necessary skills to channel the arterial and venous tree and endovascular navigation.
