Fibrinolysis in acute coronary syndrome

Basic-level study of the pathophysiology of acute coronary syndrome in general and its diagnosis and management. Using clinical cases as didactic resources, the sequence of actions is also explained in order to perform fibrinolysis in non-ST segment elevation acute coronary syndrome (STEMI).

Training aims

General objectives

  • To acquire the necessary skills to perform out-of-hospital or intra-hospital fibrinolysis.

Specific objectives

  • To identify patients with acute coronary syndrome and diagnose correctly discarding other similar symptoms.
  • To provide initial treatment depending on the case
